Procedure for Admission under NRI Ward /  Children of Gulf NRI / Foreign National / PIO quota:


i) Eligible candidates desirous to seek admission in B.E. First Year under this category, are required  to submit their Admission Request Form (ARF) , along with a demand draft of Rs.10000/- INR (drawn in favor of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur,  payable at Nagpur),  towards non refundable processing fee and photo copies of the documents to the following address:

ii) Last date for submitting the ARF under NRI-Ward Quota,  FN / PIO / Gulf NRI category is 7th June 2014.

iii) The Provisional allotment, as per merit after scrutiny will be displayed on the College Website and on the College Notice Board on 10th June 2014 at 5.00 pm. Candidates will also be intimated through their emails. Candidate  has to confirm his/her admission by paying full fee and submitting the required original documents up to 15th June 2014. This provisional admission will be  subject to the submission of additional documents such as, Eligibility certificate and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Foreign Students Advisor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTM Nagpur University), Nagpur, before the cutoff date of admissions declared by D.T.E .  (NOC is applicable to FNS / PIO / Children of  Gulf NRI only).

iv) Application Request Form against vacancies (if any), under NRI Ward / FN / PIO / Children of Gulf NRI, can be submitted from 17th June 2014 for consideration under Vacancy Round.

v) Based on “Provisional Admission Letter” the candidate is required to contact Indian Embassy of their country for obtaining a valid student visa for complete tenure of course i.e., for FOUR years (This is applicable for FN / PIO students only).

vi)  The confirmation of the provisional admission under FN/PIO/GULF NRI/NRI Ward, is  subject to the final approval by the Director of Technical Education, Mumbai and Pravesh Niyantran Samiti, Mumbai.

vii) Once the final approval is obtained, the candidate has to complete the  Enrollment process of RTM Nagpur University. On completion of  the enrollment process, every student of approved list, gets an unique enrollment number.

Note:

i) Eligibility Certificate can be obtained from RTMNU, even before the provisional admissions after submitting the application in the prescribed form along with the fee.

ii) No objection Certificate :After getting the eligibility certificate from the RTM Nagpur University, the candidate is required to contact the Foreign Student Advisor of RTM Nagpur University. The candidate will be required to get a medical certificate in the prescribed format, from the Civil Surgeon, Mayo Hospital, Nagpur, after going through some required medical tests. After receiving the medical certificate, the Foreign Student’s Advisor, will direct the candidate to pay INR 25,000/- to the University, then the NOC is issued.

iii) In case, the results of “A” level / XII / equivalent examination are awaited, the candidates can also apply for provisional admission. However, they are required to submit the “A” level / XII or equivalent examination certificate at the time of confirmation of admission.

iv) Admission in Hostel, if needed, may be taken at the time of confirmation of admission. 5 rooms in Girls hostel and 25 rooms in Boys hostel have been reserved for FN/PIO/GULF/NRI students

i) Admission request form (ARF) provided on our website.

ii) HSSC/XII Marks Sheet / “A” Level or equivalent certificate examination passed / appeared with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as essential subjects.

iii) SSC/X Marks sheet / “O” level certificate or equivalent certificate.

iv) School / College Leaving / Transfer Certificate.

v) Migration Certificate.

vi) Nationality Certificate / Citizenship Certificate.

vii) VISA (Either working / business) of NRI / Guardian of NRI.

viii) Employer Certificate or Salary Certificate of NRI.

ix) Passport copy of NRI / Guardian of NRI.

x) Affidavit of Guardian of NRI (Original). Format copy can be obtained by writing a request e-mail to deanadmissions@rknec.edu

xi) Affidavit of Parents of NRI if Guardian is appointed (Original). Format copy can be obtained by writing a request e-mail to deanadmissions@rknec.edu

xii) Transcripts, if any (applicable for Foreign Students).

xiii) NOC From RTM, Nagpur University (applicable for Foreign Nationals / PIO / Gulf NRI candidates).

Note:

  • In case of payments through NRO/NRE accounts equivalent Indian Rupee at the prevailing exchange rate of USD to INR, on that date.

Refund Rule:

  • In case of cancellation of admission under NRI-Ward/FN/PIO/Gulf NRi Category made before 30th July,2014, then proportionate monthly charges of Tution + Development + Other fee, will be deducted. In case of cancellation after 30th July, 2014 (i.e. probable last cutoff date of admission by DTE), no refund will be made, except refundable caution money deposit of INR 25,000.
